An Open Letter to President Bush

Dear President Bush,

After reading the news headlines today, I decided that I had to write this letter. This headlines include the following items: Stock market as the lowest point since 2006, Oil at highest ever, Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac in jeopardy, GM denying bankruptcy possible. MR. PRESIDENT OUR COUNTRY IS IN TROUBLE. To be blunt, you need to get off of your big, fat oil rig and do something positive to help our country and our economy. This leads me to my next question...

I am curious, what do you want you legacy to be? Do you WANT to be known as the worst President, ever? Do you want to be known as the President that has no perceived honor? Who's policies are consistently harmful to The United States of America...Who's each and every policy is designed to add additional revenue mutually to your spreadsheet and the spreadsheet of your family...Wake up, Mr. President. History is looking at you and judging you. Unless you do something drastic to help our country Mr. President, you are going to be judged as the worst President in the History of our Great Country.

God Bless America and God, please help America!

Everyone needs a little help, sometime...

I have been asked to help publicize Camp Funshine. Camp Funshine is a non-profit group that sends Children ages 7 and up with Cystic Fibrosis to Camp for a week at no charge to the children or their parents. It is a very worthwhile cause. Hard to believe...

I just saw tonight that Charlton Heston passed away. Sad...He made some really great movies..."D____ filthy apes..." At least he will have some peace from that horrible, horrible Alzheimer's Disease. He will be missed! RIP...

Good news, for a change...

The Houston Chronicle Website has reported that Wal-mart has dropped its' attempt to get money back from that poor injured woman. It looks like all of the pressure they were getting finally paid off! Good job, everyone!

I am so sick of Corporate America and their unending greed. Is it ever going to end? Companies make billions of dollars and it is not enough for them. Also, how can all of these CEO's take huge bonuses when they have to lay-off most of their work forces? Their bonuses should be garnished by the government to help off-set the benefits the government has to pay out. The government takes the homes of our Senior Citizens when they can no longer afford their own medical costs and have to go on Medicaid. Why shouldn't these people be held accountable in the same manner? It is not okay to take a Senior Citizens home, but let these people keep millions of dollars. The greed goes on and on...Will it ever stop? Will people ever stop making money off of their fellow human beings misfortunes? In my opinion, their is absolutely no justification for any of this. Stop the insanity...I want my own Island and none of these people will be allowed near it.

Yuck, yuck, bluck and what?!

Tonight was our dinner out with the DAR Ladies. We went to the Texas Roadhouse. In my opinion, it was a truly awful experience. I do not know who thought up their business model, but that person needs their head examined. We had to wait for 45 minutes (even with the call ahead reservation). Next, they split our party up. One of the hostesses actually had the nerve to say that is she had known that they could split us up, they would have seated us sooner. My thought was, excuse me? You had planned to split us up regardless...they were going to put us into several different booths. Next, they gave us a horrible, horrible waitress with absolutely no patience and no skills. She was even throwing different objects at us. It took them over an hour to get our food to us and when it arrived it was cold and overly spicy. It was in all a horrible, horrible experience.

FYI -- This restaurant should only be considered, if you are going with one other person with whom you do not want to have a conversation. Because frankly, it is just too loud!

Where do I start first??

The Insanity is rampant today!

First, I sent an item to someone via the USPS and sent it certified mail. I got a call from the person that I sent it to...the POST OFFICE can not find the letter. They had it long enough to send the recipient a notice, but now it is gone. So, I called the USPS to file a complaint. The man on the phone basically told me that I was wasting my time. Okay, so I can't trust them to deliver a letter that I have paid them money to deliver? What good are they and why are we paying them all of this money to provide a non-existence service. I say NO MORE RATE HIKES UNTIL THEY IMPROVE THEIR SERVICE. Make them earn their money like the rest of us!

Next, why is the FBI wasting our money investigating Roger Clemens? We have starving children and our economy sucks and they waste our money in this manner? Additionally, is the guy that said that he did use hgh under criminal charges? How is he credible? I don't believe him... Additionally, who really cares. These allegations have already ruined Clemens reputation. It is really a sad day when someone can lie and ruin all of the hard work a person has done for a number of years!

My Choice for President...

My Choice for President is a person with a proven track record. This track record includes a public life of caring for our children and their fellow human beings. Additionally, this person is also for change, but for change that can actually happen. Not for empty promises. Anyone can run around advocating change, but it takes a real action person to do it. The action person that I have chosen is...Hillary Clinton.

I ask you how can someone that does not have the experience to deal with major financial upheavals, diplomatic nightmares, and overall bad situations? The answer is -- they can't...If you think our country is a mess right now, one of the potential candidates has just the right amount of support and the right amount of inexperience to really make the situation a nightmare. You know of whom I speak!!!

Next, I love America. Since the American Revolution, my family has shed blood for our country in virtually every war that has been fought. The current situation that we are in with Iraqi just sickens me. I am deeply saddened that so many of our finest young men and women have lost their lives and that so many more will lose their lives. I am just stupified that our country had a decent surplus before the Current President's term and it has been squandered away for nought. Additionally, currently,
we have a health care system that is run by for profit companies and it is obviously not in their best interest to take care of their policyholders. Unfortunately, the management of these companies are paid based upon the profits. NOT, on how well the policy holders are taken care of...From personal experience, I know families that pay $1,000 per month for their healthcare coverage (with high co-pays and deductibles). With a decent National healthcare plan and even if we had to raise taxes to pay for it, it would not cost $1,00o per month. It only makes sense to have someone in charge of our healthcare whose main goal is healthcare and not profits. If you think of it this way...National Healthcare only makes sense...after all, police departments and fire departments are the same thing. Would you even think about privatizing those? Of course not, for it is in the best interest of our society for our government to take care of those basic services. Healthcare should be a basic service and handled the same way. Least we all forget, we are our BROTHERS KEEPER. That is the bottom line of everything...And so, the insanity continues...

Someone emailed me a picture of a gun the following comments are about the gun.
My beliefs include that people should have the right to possess guns for protection and for the hunting of food. However, I do not think a pink gun with hello kitty is necessary for either one. A very bad idea to have around children. Having this type of gun around could lead to a lot of regret later on... The Insanity Continues...

New guy, poor, poor, new guy...

It seems we have a newbie in the HOA game. He wants to put a fence around the playground, and he wants to use the almighty reserves to do it. Poor, poor fool. Don't you know that money is supposed to sit there, it isn't actually supposed to be used for something that is a good idea...Don't you know that you are just supposed to pay your dues in whatever amount they want and not question them? After all, you only pay your mortgage payment while they actually control your home and you along with it. And, heaven help you if you actually don't agree with them. They will do any and everything to demonize you. Poor, poor fool....you will soon realize that insanity rules and common sense is punished...

Lies, Lies, and more Lies!

The Zombie master is now saying that the ousted Board member was voted in...WRONG he was appointed by her and her Zombie Slaves. By the way, she values her honesty and reputation and feels that she has been honest and above-board. I wonder what the name of her dictionary is??? I need to know, because it needs to be taken out of print because it is totally inaccurate.

I am trying to let this go...because frankly, I have had enough. But, I sincerely hope that at some point this all comes back and bites all participants in this act of evil in the butt.

The Zombie master actually has people afraid of saying anything because she has driven people out of their homes and has threatened to foreclose on people's homes, if they say anything against her.

Meanwhile, we need to work on a plan to fufill our goal of moving to a smaller town and away from HOA's forever...The Insanity Continues...

The HOA war is going on day 3 now. We have 3 Zombie women that keep taking their little sticks with the bent ends and just keep poking it at the same person. Terrible, terrible bullies. I guess the one that controls the collective brain has them doing her dirty work, again. But, they are all starting to really smell really, really bad...Phewwww. It might be really stinky here, but the insanity continues on...

Tonight the drama continues with the HOA Board and their one shared brain. The One that controls the major portion of their brain has put all of her friends up to personally defending her. After the fiasco with the kangaroo vote, one of the zombie's stated that everyone has in the community has a say. Yes, Ms. Zombie we certainly do, we had our say and what we wanted was promptly gone with the wind...Drink some more Zombie juice and shut your yap! Insanity rules once again...

HOA (Homeowner's Association) or Horrendously Outrageous Autocrats

Last night was our Subdivision's annual meeting of the minds. (What few there are...) The Horrendously Outrageous Autocrats were in top form. They "allowed" us to have an election, then proceeded to make it a kangaroo vote. After our votes were counted and the President of the Board was thrown out of office, the board had an "executive" meeting and forced everyone else to leave. At that point, one board member who was not man enough to be honest, above-board, and let the other homeowner's have an actual voice in who his replacement would be, resigned his spot on the board. (He had a typed letter. So, an intelligent person could infer that the whole drama was planned.) Then, the old board members all voted to place the guy that was just ousted from the Board back onto the Board and even in his old spot as President. When the new board member called them on this behavoir, their response was that it was legal. Legal? The terms UNETHICAL and DIRTY POLITICS comes to mind.

So, today the mainpulation continues... The management company has made the whole issue a personal one and clouded the issue to take the pressure off of themselves. We actually have members of this community who do not seem to mind that their rights were violated and they do not have a voice. How can one make these simpletons understand that this will continue in perpetuity, if they do not put a stop to it now. What is wrong with people? Why can't they think? Why would you give your rights away like that? I don't understand...so once again, Insanity Rules...
